Welcome to the GNOME Split project
GNOME Split is a file splitter and merge for the GNOME desktop. Its goal is to allow its users to split and merge files with a GTK+ interface.
There are several file formats which are supported:
- GNOME Split, the file format created for this program ;
- Xtremsplit, a well known splitter program for Windows ;
- KFK, a file splitter for Windows ;
- Yoyocut, a file splitter for Windows ;
- and all generic files when the first chunk extension is *.000 or *.001.
You can download GNOME Split source code releases on this page hosted on Launchpad.
If you're here, you're probably looking for documentation, so go ahead and visit our wiki.
Enjoy!
